Compliance with the NEW Massachusetts Data Security Regulations

Jeff Fraser helps professionals and businesses in their efforts to comply with the new Massachusetts Data Security Regulations, 201 CMR 17.00, which have been in effect since March 1, 2010. All Massachusetts professionals and businesses must engage in a documented formal procedure to identify any and all "personal information" (as defined in the regulations) in their possession, physically and electronically, relating to their employees, customers, and clients. The business must then design and establish a formal Written Information Security Program (WISP) documenting security practices and procedures ensuring continuing security of the information. Jeff Fraser has a degree in Psychology from Boston College (magna cum laude) and is a graduate of Boston College Law School. He has over thirty years experience in private practice, including advising businesses and advising individuals who are forming, buying, or selling businesses. Mr. Fraser has been awarded the prestigious "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell in recognition of his skill and integrity. Mr. Fraser has extensive experience as a mediator in both civil cases and divorce and family cases.
